Antwerp is famous for its diamonds, harbour and the many cake factories. Thereby Antwerp has 500,000 inhabitants. The venue during the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Women is the Lotto Arena, which strikes by its construction. Other notable places in the city are the Jewish Quarter and the Old Town. With good weather the terraces, around the corner of the City Hall, are full. A perfect place to drink a nice Belgian beer.

Lotto Arena Antwerp

The Lotto Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Antwerp. The hall was opened in 2007. Each year, the hall receives more than 350,000 visitors. The building is located in the district Merksem on the border with the district of Deurne, aside from the Antwerp ring. The Lotto Arena is home to the basketball team Antwerp Giants.
